The 2023 World Government Summit opened in Dubai

On the morning of February 13, local time, the 2023 World Government Summit officially opened in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The three-day summit brought together more than 20 country leaders, representatives from more than 150 countries, and more than 250 government officials and business leaders. The theme of the summit is “Shaping the Government of the Future”, and the participants will discuss and exchange ideas around six areas.

UAE President Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan said before the summit that the UAE is committed to strengthening cooperation with governments around the world, actively participating in international affairs, and working with other countries to address the current challenges and contribute to a better future for human society.

Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Assistant to the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, said that since the World Government Summit was first held in 2013, it has been committed to advocating for shaping future governments, opening up new horizons for government management, and becoming a model for countries to work together for a better future.
